Whitsunday Development Manual and Standard Drawings
The Whitsunday Development Manual V3.6 commenced on 21 December 2018. The Development Manual identifies industry standards, design guides and specifications to guide construction throughout the Region.
Standard drawings to support the Development Manual also commenced on 21 December 2018. We utilised standards, design guides and specifications from the Development Manual to draft the standard drawings.
The standard drawings are provided for guidance when designing and preparing to undertake works in the Whitsunday Region. The standard drawing amendments are intended to allow broader utilisation of industry standard drawings issued by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) and the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR).
The Asset Design As Constructed (ADAC) Guidelines provide assistance with respect to the survey, creation and provision of compliant ADAC XML files to accompany the usual bundle of “As-Constructed” (As-Built) plans, drawings, schedules and associated information reflecting all details of new civil infrastructure and associated assets.
