Airlie Beach Lagoon
The Airlie Beach Lagoon is open to everyone. The lagoon area is 4,300sqm and holds 4.5 million litres of fresh, self-chlorinated water, and is located on the foreshore of Airlie Beach.
It provides an environment that is completely safe from stingers and marine wildlife, all year round. The facility includes a sheltered wading pool for toddlers, a shallow 1.5 metre maximum depth children's pool and a larger pool which has a maximum depth of 2 metres with separate swimming lanes for fitness enthusiasts.
It is built on a raised breakwater, giving an excellent view out to the Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands.
Lifeguards patrol the lagoon from:
05:30am to 7:00pm during Winter (June to August)
05:30am to 9:00pm during summer (September to May).

Bowen Water Park

Opening Hours:
8am – 6pm during winter (March - August); and
8am – 7pm during summer (September – February)
The water park will be closed Tuesday mornings from 8am to 12pm for regular maintenance.
