Event Hire Information

Only a short drive from the main business centre of Bowen and with sealed carparking, this popular tourism venue is a drawcard for residents and visitors all year-round. The venue can cater for up to 120 guests in the conference centre and also contains a cafe. 

Features include:

  • Equipment such as crockery, cutlery and furniture available upon request
  • Full wireless network, public wifi and AV equipment available upon request

Please note that Council is actively working towards securing new operators, but this will take time to ensure a thorough Expressions of Interest (EOI) process is undertaken.

We are committed to ensuring the venue remains accessible for suitable events and functions and Council officers will be facilitating venue hire bookings for both sides of the facility for the interim.

The facility will be available to host a wide range of events including, Christmas parties, workshops, and other special occasions. However, to make these events successful, the event holder will need to arrange external caterers and required liquor licenses, but Council can assist to facilitate.
