    To get started on Bolinda Digital you will need your library barcode, password and an email account.

    STEP 1 – Sign In using your library barcode and password/PIN.

    Alternatively, you can download from the App Store or Google Play, the BorrowBox mobile app on your device.  Select your library and then enter your library card number and your password/PIN

    STEP 2 – Search, browse and discover our great collection 24/7.  Read extracts, listen to excerpts and more

    STEP 3 – Borrow by confirming your choice or reserve a title for later

    STEP 4 – Download the complete eBook or eAudiobook instantly

    You are able to borrow and download 10 eAudiobooks and 10 eBooks each for a 2 week loan and reserve any titles that may currently be on loan.  When reserved titles are ready to download the title will be automatically loaned to you and you will be advised via email that it is ready.  Content is continually updated with stacks of popular new release titles available every day.

    RBDigital

    RBdigital has a large range of eBooks and eAudiobooks for you to borrow, download and enjoy.  Registration is now available through the RBdigital mobile app, making it easier than ever for you to access RBdigital content through your iOS, Android, and Kindle devices!

    The app allows you to go straight to the collection on your phone or tablet without having to visit the website first: all you’ll need is the RBdigital app and your library card.

    New users can create an account in just a few easy steps by tapping on "Not a member? Register now".

    Storybox Library

    For families to connect, engage, inspire and educate children, Story Box Library  is the best place to watch celebrated stories read aloud by your favourite storytellers.  Story Box Library streams ad-free content directly into your home on any device with internet connection with a range of actors, comedians, sportspeople, musicians, authors, TV presenters, performers, students, grandparents, activists and educators each sharing their unique voice.  It’s storytime, anytime! Enter your library card barcode number located on the back of your membership card and click the green Log In button.
     

  • Kanopy

    Kanopy provides Whitsunday Regional Library patrons access to a range of new release films including Kanopy Kids for free through this popular on-demand film streaming service!

    Library card holders can access Kanopy and sign up to start streaming films online instantly.  Up to 4 films per month can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV or Chromecast and you have 3 days to watch each film.

    To set up this film streaming service:

    • Go to https://whitsundayrc.kanopy.com and click Sign Up in the top right corner;
    • Sign up with your name, an email address and password;
    • Go to your emails and click on the account verification link and then return to site;
    • When you choose something to watch, it will then ask you to add your library card;
    • Enter library card number and PIN and save.

    PressReader gives you access to more than 7,000 magazines and newspapers of which over 470 are Australian, with many regional newspapers including the Whitsunday Times.

    Visit PressReader or download the free app:

    • Click on Sign In
    • Click on the blue Libraries & Groups button
    • Search Whitsunday Regional Council and click on Library – Whitsunday Regional Council
    • Enter your Library membership number and your PIN
    • Click on the green sign in button

The service provides courses for learning the latest commercial software, creative and business skills. More than 3000 courses with 130,000 video tutorials taught by experts in their field with new courses available regularly. Topics include software, web design, photography, business and career skills, social media and job search tools. Courses are for all levels from beginner to advanced.
