The Whitsunday Multicultural Festival will be held on Friday 30th July from 5pm - 9pm and will celebrate the diversity of our amazing region! The festival will include a variety of cultural food, entertainment, markets, a lantern parade and a celebration of Bowen's 160th Anniversary! There will be special cake cutting followed by a fireworks display.
Food stalls include: Coffee vans, icecream, Poco Cucino, Bowen Seagulls Licensed Bar and Sausage Sizzle and Fusion 88.
Bring your own lantern for the parade or decorate one at the Bowen Soundshell during a lantern making workshop before the festival starts from 3pm – 5pm.
This event is funded by the Department of Local Government, Racing and Multicultural Affairs.
