This tournament is open to all styles. It will be run under full contact karate rules, (Kyokushin style). Whilst this is an Australian Martial Arts Tournament it is also a nomination tournament for the 2025 International Kyokushinkaikan Organization Karate Union World Cup being held on the Gold Coast, Australia in November 2025. For junior competitors it is also a nomination tournament for the Grand Championships being held in Osaka, Japan in 2026.
