Closures and Changes to Service Times - Show Holidays

Council would like to advise residents of closures and changes to service times for the upcoming show holidays:

Show Whitsunday Holiday- Opening Times 2026

Customer Service Centres

Proserpine:

Closing: 4.45pm, Thursday 18 June 2026. Reopening: 8.15am, Monday 22 June 2026

Cannonvale (inside Cannonvale Library):

Closing:4:30pm, Thursday 18 June 2026. Reopening 9.30, Monday 22 June 2026 

Libraries

Cannonvale:

Closing: 4.30pm, Thursday 18 June 2026.  Reopening: 10am, Saturday 20 June 2026

Proserpine: 

Closing: 4.45pm, Thursday 18 June 2026.  Reopening: 8.45am, Saturday 20 June 2026

Proserpine Entertainment Centre

Show Day (19 June): Box Office open from11.30am

Aquatic Facilities

Proserpine pool and water park will operate under Public Holiday Hours (12pm - 4pm).

Airlie Beach Lagoon will be open as per usual business hours.

Waste Facilities

All waste facilities will be open as per usual business hours.

Bowen Library

Closing: 4.45pm, Monday 22 June 2026. Reopening: 8.15am, Wednesday 24 June 2026

Aquatic Facilities

Bowen Pool will operate under Public Holiday Hours (12pm - 4pm)

Bowen Water Park will be open from 8am - 6pm.

Waste Facilities

All waste facilities will be open as per usual business hours.
