Our Knit Wits Group takes on knitting projects to support charities and community organisations. Needles and yarn are provided for community projects, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm! All are welcome. No Bookings required.
Past projects have included Trauma Teddies for Australian Red Cross, Poppies for Remembrance Day, Penguin Jumpers (Knits for Nature – Penguin Foundation), Lamb Jumpers (Helping our Farmers), & Bird’s Nests (Baby Bird Nest Campaign – Wildcare).
Children aged 8 years and under must be directly supervised by a parent/carer at all times. Children aged 9-12 years must have a parent/carer in the building at all times.
