Mentoring for Growth (M4G) is a free program provided by the Queensland Government. Register your business to engage with experienced business mentors. Mentor chats are available for early stage businesses requiring one-on-one assistance to address a particular business challenge or opportunity. You can access Mentor chats via Skype, face-to-face or at Office of Small Business events across Queensland.

Advance Queensland is a comprehensive suite of programs, that include opportunities for small businesses to collaborate and build on their innovation and ideas, to help them grow and improve products and services, and compete in a global market.

The Department of State Development, through it’s Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Regional Office (MIWRO) is committed to helping local businesses identify project opportunities and build their tendering and supply chain capabilities. Businesses in the MIW region are encouraged to register for events, workshops and support services, or access resources here.

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries has recently developed a One-Stop-Service to assist agricultural project proponents to better navigate government processes for development, assessment and investment. The web-based information portal is designed to provide a range of information to develop and expand agriculture businesses, including planning, trade and investment, mapping and business support.
