Request a water connection

To request a new water connection please complete Form 1 – Compliance assessment application for plumbing, drainage and on-site sewerage work. An application fee also applies and can be found in Council's Fees and Charges. There are a list of different connections and sizes depending on the requirements and location of Councils water main. Please note: not all properties in the region are within the declared (benefited) water area and if they are unable to be connected the application fee made will be refunded.
 
Most new connection applications are received in conjunction with Plumbing and Drainage works as the form is the same. Section 7 Water supply must be completed to indicate that a water connection is also required.

Most connections are done within 7-10 working days . Any connections which may fall outside these timeframes, the applicant will be contacted by Water & Sewerage Services.
